AI control center

One owner-controlled place for provider connections, app access, usage, spend and diagnostics. P1 preserves every existing production route.

Production-safe P1: newly added external APIs are stored encrypted in Test only. They cannot enter the existing model router until a later explicit routing step.

30-day AI spend

Existing request ledger + current model pricing metadata.

Connections

Only services actually configured are shown.

Providers & connections

Connected services only. Search the catalog when you need another provider; unconfigured services do not occupy the dashboard.

Provider lifecycle P4.5: Onboarded providers can now be structurally qualified as READY · DISABLED. Qualification checks credential posture, fresh verification, adapter compatibility, model capability scope and disabled-state invariants. It does not enable providers/models or change routing.

Applications

Owner-controlled application permissions, quotas, tokens and P5 policy visibility.

P6.1 application access: changes here affect future requests from the selected app only. Provider/model enablement and the frozen P3/P4/P5 routing architecture are not changed.

AI dispatcher

Live capability policies, health-aware auto routing, app admission state and decision audit trail from the central ai.youpilot.me dispatcher.

P5.5 canary safety: selected canary failures or same-request fallbacks automatically block future canary selection back to P3. Owner ramps are explicit 1% → 2% → 5%; provider/model global enablement remains unchanged.

Capability policies

Configured preference order. Capabilities without a policy use model priority plus runtime health.

Application admission

Current-month request/token guardrails from ai_apps. USD budget policies remain separate.

App / feature scoped policies

Prepared routes for one application and optional feature. P5.2 evaluates matching AUTO requests in shadow; activation is still locked.

Scoped canaries

Qualified Text/Coding policies may send at most 5% of matching AUTO requests to one exact target. Provider/model global enablement stays unchanged.

MAX 5%
App / featureCapabilityTrafficTargetPostureRuntimeActivated

Canary safety & ramp

P5.5 circuit breaker watches only selected canary executions. One selected failure or same-request fallback blocks future canary selection back to P3. Ramps are explicit 1% → 2% → 5% only.

Eligible model pool

Enabled models/providers ordered by the existing priority field. Dispatcher policy and health may choose among these routes.

Usage & spend

Operational accounting with optional user, feature and channel attribution. Existing calls remain valid when attribution headers are absent.

Accounting order: provider-reported cost → request-time estimate → usage-metadata estimate → current model-price estimate → Unpriced. Attribution is optional: Story history is recognized through its existing owner reference; other callers can send opaque refs without changing request bodies.

Attribution filters

Filter the same ledger by app, opaque user/owner reference, feature, channel, provider, model or capability.

Daily accounted spend

Provider-reported + estimated cost. Unpriced requests are not silently treated as $0.

Budgets & limits

Owner-defined daily and monthly spend guardrails using the same accounting engine as Usage. P2.2 is observe-only: it warns, but does not block production requests.

OBSERVE ONLY: budget thresholds are monitoring guardrails in P2.2. No production request, provider, model or route is blocked by this release. This lets us validate accounting behavior before enabling hard stops.

Budget policies

Global, app, provider or capability thresholds.

Add / update guardrail

Saving the same scope updates its threshold.

OBSERVE
Shows a warning when accounted spend reaches this percentage of a configured limit.
Unpriced requests are shown separately and are not silently counted as $0. Because P2.2 is monitoring-only, an exceeded threshold is an alert—not a service interruption.

Requests

Request-level accounting plus optional user, feature, channel and operation attribution. Prompt bodies, credentials and raw user identities are not exposed.

Request filters

Unattributed is a real filter value, so missing caller context stays visible.

Attribution capture

OPTIONAL

App calls may send X-YouPilot-User-Ref, X-YouPilot-Feature, X-YouPilot-Channel-Ref and X-YouPilot-Operation. Existing calls remain valid without them.

USD budget policies

OBSERVE ONLY

P2.2 USD spend thresholds remain monitoring-only. App monthly request/token limits are separate hard guardrails and are visible in Dispatcher admission.

Central dispatcher

ACTIVE

Automatic selection can use capability policies, runtime health avoidance and app admission context. Explicit model requests remain unchanged and safe same-request fallback is enabled only for AUTO Text + Coding on provider rejection; media and Story remain excluded.

Provider lifecycle

P4 FROZEN · P5.5 SAFETY

P4 provider/model enablement remains locked. P5.5 adds a fail-safe circuit breaker and evidence-gated 1% → 2% → 5% ramp over the existing P5.4 Text/Coding canary.

New connections

TEST ONLY

External credentials are stored in a separate encrypted table and cannot become production routes.

Secrets

ENCRYPTED

New credentials use an isolated AES-256-GCM envelope derived from the existing AI master key.

Canonical UI

ROOT

The Control Center lives directly on ai.youpilot.me with refresh-safe deep URLs. /admin remains only as a compatibility redirect.

Scoped routing policy

P5.2 · SHADOW OBSERVE · no production selection

This policy is evaluated in P5.2 shadow mode only. It can record a would-be route, but provider/model enablement and scoped production activation remain locked.
Use * for every feature in this app, or an attribution feature such as thumbnail, comments, music-mix.
Candidates include current production-enabled routes and P4-certified READY · DISABLED routes.

Activate scoped canary

Qualified Text/Coding only · maximum 5% · global provider/model state unchanged

Canary activation is app + feature + capability scoped. The exact shadow-qualified target is pinned. If the target becomes unavailable, unhealthy, or the policy changes, execution falls back to the existing P3 route.
P5.5 always starts at 1%. After clean canary evidence, use Safety & ramp for 2% and then 5%.
Type the phrase exactly. This does not globally enable the provider or model.

Qualify provider readiness

Structural qualification only · provider and models stay disabled

P4.5 does not run inference or media generation. It certifies the current disabled provider/model posture only. Actual activation is deferred to a later scoped-routing phase.
Type the phrase exactly. This writes readiness metadata only; it does not enable anything.

Discover provider models

Catalog discovery only · provider and models remain disabled

P4.4 may request the provider's model catalog, but it does not run inference or media generation. Onboarding persists models as DISABLED only.
Type the phrase exactly. Provider enablement and model enablement are later phases.

Activate core credential

Provider remains disabled · no model sync · no provider test

Enter the provider API key again. P4.3 does not read or copy the staged credential. The existing core provider credential writer performs encryption.
Type the phrase exactly. This configures the core key only; it does not enable the provider.
